RISK BITES: Fear of the unknown

by Ishani Hewage on May 28, 2013

We are back with another episode of Risk Bites.

This week, Brian Zikmund-Fisher is back to talk about how we don’t merely think about risk but actually feel it too!

Feelings No Border 750x400

There are many things that affect the way we feel about risk. Together, Brian and Andrew Maynard discuss how our feelings toward a risk are directly shaped by how much we understand about it. In other words, if we know a lot about a given risk then we are less likely to be afraid of it, regardless of its likelihood.

Check out the video and let us know what you think. If you haven’t already, subscribe to Risk Bites channel to receive informative bite-size videos every Tuesday.
